What is deleted
The authenticated OWNNOW account and user-owned OWNNOW data are deleted. This includes the profile, Signals and filters, Watches and conditions, feed interaction records, notifications, registered device and push-delivery records, and attributable feedback where applicable.
Deletion does not turn into deactivation: the account cannot be restored through the app.
What may remain
Shared records such as source information and content events may remain because they are used by the service and are not owned by one account.
Technically necessary provider backups, security logs, or records required by law may persist temporarily under the relevant provider’s retention practices. OWNNOW does not claim that all provider backups are erased immediately.
Messages already handed to a push provider or delivered to a device cannot necessarily be recalled.
Retention target for push metadata
Push delivery and receipt metadata and push-open tracking each have a target maximum retention of 90 days. Automated enforcement of that target is not yet implemented.
Questions or problems
